Customers greatly appreciate the convenience and efficiency of using an app to check important information such as reservation slots, live showing tickets and of course to view menu prices. When it comes to food, convenience, quality and experience are a few traits a customer could use to give their honest review. Why not find ways to enhance a few attributes of this experience.

One downside to not having an application when your restaurant is so multi-dimensional is that there could be limited communication and that can result in lower attendance as well as inconvenient reservations. The lack of an application for restaurants in general can effect the seamless ordering experience with takeout that could lead to longer wait times. If said restaurant also does not have a 3rd party that will make deliveries, this could effect the time and efficiency as well. It also takes away the opportunity to gather customer feedback, which could be helpful when booking performances for particular days.

My research process would entail:
- User Interviews: Conduct interviews with potential users, which could be returning customers, to understand their dining habits, preferences, and pain points.
- Competitive Analysis: Analyze other restaurant apps to identify strengths and weaknesses.
- Surveys: Distribute surveys to gather quantitative data on user preferences and behaviors.
- Usability Testing: Test early prototypes with customers to gather feedback on usability and functionality.

Research Shows that restaurants with apps can collect and analyze data on customer habits, which can inform marketing strategies and menu adjustments to better meet customer needs.

Another advantage is shown as the competitive edge it would give. Having an app can differentiate a restaurant from its competitors, especially in a market where digital convenience is highly valued.

The main design goal was to keep everything in a similar tone to the website as far as typography goes. The Moon is more on the upscale side, so there was a lot of use of fancy fonts but they are still able to decipher when reading.

The color scheme for The Moon is generally Pink, but with the thought of the actual name in mind, I wanted to go with darker versions of the color pink with inspiration of the actual moon.

The end result gives an upscale theme but gives the perspective that this is what "The Moon" would look like with an incorporation of said color (pink). We want to envoke a different atmospheric experience through the application.
